Dear CGA Players;
When you take relief with an unplayable lie
there are 3 options, which include a one-stroke penalty.
1) Two club lengths no closer to the hole
2) Go back to where you hit the ball from originally
3) Go back on a line as far as you want keeping the point of where the
ball was found between you and the hole.
However, you cannot
go back on a line that does not keep the point between you and the hole.

Mon., Sept 11, Cove Cay; BBP; Starts: 8 a.m. shotgun & p.m. t/times Entry fee is $50 per player. This is a very scenic golf course with holes
running along Tampa Bay. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. for food and
beverages. Range balls included if range is open! Directions: Cove Cay is located on U.S. 19 south of Gulf
to Bay and north of East Bay Dr. on the east side of the road.

Entry fee is $50 per player. Bring your own filled glass/tumbler. Ice and
water available at the bar when restaurant is
open. Lansbrook will
provide an excellent test of golf with water coming into play on four of the
par-3 holes. Range balls
included if range is open! Directions: Lansbrook is located three miles north of Tampa
Rd. on the west side of East Lake Rd. Turn west onto Village Center Dr. and
follow to club- house on right.

course is a classic Tom Fazio design with his signature mounding and bunkering.

approx. one mile south of Bryan Dairy Rd. off Starkey Rd. Entrance is on the east side of Starkey Rd.

Thurs., Sept 21, Bardmoor; IND; Starts: 8 a.m. shotgun & p.m.
tee times. Entry fee is $50 per player. Beautiful lakes are located on 17 of the 18
championship holes. A 3.5-acre lake
surrounds the 3rd green, creating one of the most challenging holes
in the area. Range balls included if range is open! Directions: Enter at the Bardmoor entrance approximately one mile south of Bryan
Dairy Rd. off Starkey Rd. Entrance is on
the east side of Starkey Rd. Follow road
to 2nd stop sign and turn right.
Course is on the right
Mon., Sept 25, Westchase : BBP,
Starts : 8 a.m. shotgun & p.m. t/times Entry fee is $50 per player. It is an excellent
course with a premium on approach shots into the greens. Range balls
included if range is open! Directions: U.S. 19 N. to Tampa Rd. Go east
onto Tampa Rd. Turn north onto Race
Track Rd. and then turn east on Linebaugh.
Course will be on the right.

Lake: IND,
Shotguns : 8 a.m. & 1 p.m. Entry fee is $50 per player. Seminole Lake is a CGA favorite with some of the best
fairways in the area. Range balls
included if range is open! Directions: Take Starkey Rd. to Park Blvd.
Make a right onto the first street past Park Blvd. Augusta Blvd. and it
will take you to the course
